Photo UP!: MM II Samples Arrived~
Hie moonies! (*^▽^*)ノ
I have a big update for you all! I received my samples from my manufacturer this past week and they look so awesome!! I'm soo happy with them ;w; ~ I have already gone over them thoroughly to make adjustments. The colors are mostly all perfect except for some here and there. Most of the areas that were using sandblast are changing to iridescent glitter because I didn't really like the sandblast effect~
After making some adjustments with my manufacturer, the pins are largely continuing into mass production! There are just a few pins which we are still testing a few colors to make sure they are good to go.
Sample photos up ahead!
The photos don't really represent the colors 100% because of lighting conditions / my camera / your screen, so please know the colors look a lot better in person.
Super Moon will have a few color adjustments
Chibi will have a few color adjustments.
Rebirth will have a small print adjustment.
Sky soldier will have a minor color adjustment.
Ocean soldier will have a minor color adjustment.
Time soldier will have a minor color adjustment, and sandblast in orb changed to glitter. Also I'm aware one of the bangs is the wrong color here, it's an error.
Cat family will have some color adjustments, Sandblast areas (skirt) changing to glitter. The pantone code for Diana was the wrong code q w q she'll be fixed!
Some color adjustments, removed sandblast in sword and moon, try to lighten the rose as much as possible (it has glitter).
Some minor color adjustment. Jewelry color will be fixed + add glitter.
He's so perfect! Just brightening the sparkles in his hair.

Some color adjustments. Babies! ;w;
The other pins that aren't pictured are already in mass production since they didn't have samples made. Those pins are all in the print stage now for the most part.
Also, I wanted to mention that the faces of the Luxe pins are being UV printed because I am concerned about the size of the lines on such a small area. When lines that thin and small are screen printed they often experience breaks in the line art and do not transfer completely. The faces are very intricate, and the size of the surface area is only about 0.25", so I tested UV print and I'm really happy with it, my manu has really good UV print quality.
Other areas of the pins with large print such as the shading will be screen printed. It's a lot more expensive for me to do both UV + screen print because I need to pay two base printing fees per pin instead of one, but I think it's worth it to keep the quality of the design. However, I will be adjusting the colors of the face prints as the outline color came out very red, it should be a more muted tone. I might also adjust the eye outline/brow colors in general since we can use any color with this printing technique. When they have finished all of the enamel fill I will do some print adjustment testing.
